Eco food packaging is gaining in importance

Eco packaging can be made from several materials

The raw materials used for the production of our eco packaging are based, for example, on cellulose, which is used to make paper or cardboard eco packaging with or without an organic coating. This is usually an applied bioplastic (PLA), which prevents leakage of liquid foods and is also ecological. Another raw material is turkey cane, the so-called bagasse, more precisely pulp produced from secondary raw material after the processing of sugar cane for sugar production - fibers from sugar cane stalks. This can be pressed into all kinds of shapes, with us you will find mainly menu boxes, but also pizza packaging or plates and bowls.

Eco packaging for food and foodstuffs is compostable

In the details of the products sold, you can see whether the eco packaging is compostable. Some products are biodegradable as a natural product. Others that are, or contain PLA components, are compostable according to DIN EN 134232, which means that they decompose in an industrial composting plant within 30-90 days and have a certificate for this.
