Compostable dishes - a great idea for a barbecue
One of the first customers of the Greenware.sk store was our grandmother. She really liked the idea of a compostable food packaging store. She was also very pleased that we decided to do a project that would contribute at least a little to the protection of our planet's environment. After a few conversations, she decided to order something from the store and insisted even though we offered her free samples. Of course, we were pleased with the order, as the beginnings of any business are difficult. Our boys helped us prepare the package, especially since the shipment was for grandma.
Over the next few days we forgot about it. But it wasn't long before we were planning a trip to visit our grandparents. The program also included planting potatoes together with a roaster directly in the field.
Palm plates and stylish disposable cups
Then grandma pleasantly surprised us again. From the bag, she unpacked plates made of palm leaves, on which she served baked goodies, disposable paper cups, in which the adults enjoyed their beer and the children enjoyed their mineral water. She didn't forget the wooden forks either. After the meal, grandfather was also excited - he started collecting used disposable dishes and was looking forward to putting them in the compost in the garden instead of washing them.
The food was excellent, but we still didn't eat it all. Grandma also thought of that and took a box made of sugar cane, in which she promptly and conveniently packed everything left at home.
Eco dishes on the grill in nature or barbecue in the garden
Well, it was a great feeling. In addition, we confirmed that ecological compostable gastro packaging can be practical for anyone. It doesn't necessarily have to be just street food or a restaurant, disposable plates are suitable for a barbecue, barbecue or cottage, just like compostable cups and cutlery. Packaging made from fallen palm leaves will certainly benefit our garden, they will be used in compost, and we will thus avoid the use of polystyrene boxes, plastic plates, forks and other disposable dishes that burden our planet.
