Eco packaging for food can be made from various materials

The raw materials used for the production of our food packaging are based, for example, on cellulose, from which paper food packaging is made. Some have a biofilm coating on the inside, others don't. Bio-coating is usually an applied bio-plastic (PLA), which prevents seepage of liquid foods and is ecological. Another common raw material is sugar cane, the so-called bagasse, more precisely pulp produced from secondary raw material after the processing of sugar cane for sugar production - fibers from sugar cane stalks. The pulp is pressed into all sorts of shapes, with us you can find menu boxes, burger boxes, but also packaging for, for example, pizza.

Our food and grocery packaging is compostable

Others that are, or contain components from PLA, are compostable according to the DIN EN 134232 standard - they decompose within 90 days in an industrial composting environment and have a certificate for this.
